My life like normal has been really busy. It seems to get really bad on the day hubby gets payed. Yesterday, the day before payday, I managed to make some phone calls and get most of the house cleaned. So it was an ok day but today..........
I had to get all of the kids up. Blake had a doctors appointment today at 8:30.....I am nuts for doing that early but I had so much to do. Needless to say I didn't get it all done. Got to his appointment late by 5 mins as usual. Appointment went well but then he had to get shots. So I had a cranky baby about half way through the afternoon. After the appt. we had to go to the bank. I hadn't had a chance to check it so unsure how much was even in there. So there ends up being less than I thought so that through my whole day off.
I leave the bank and decide that if I am going to go grocery shopping on this tight of a budget I am going to need to eat. So I get me a sausage McMuffin and the girls both ate a hash brown a piece. FYI it is cheaper to buy a meal and then add 2 extra hash brown than to get the sandwich and 2 hash browns.
We then have to all get out so we can go inside the store to put money in the bank. Then all get back in the car to go to my moms. She, when available, watches the kids so I can go shopping alone. THANK YOU MOM! I get there and have to fill out paperwork and make a couple of phone calls to my school. I finally get that done and think, it is only a little after 11....I will have time to go to the store and not have to rush to get Bruce.
I go to the store and it seems like I did everything pretty quick but before I know it, it is nearly 1pm. My mom had a doc appt. and needed to leave her house by 1:20 at the latest. Well then I run into construction less than a mile from her house. So I end up being late again.
My next task was to email in my paperwork to the school.......well that didn't go as easy as planned so I rushed to fax them and didn't get a chance to call the school cause I still had to go to the butcher and get ground beef. My family eats way to much and can't seem to live without it....lol By the time I get done there it is already 20 after 2 and my gas tank is sitting on "E". I still had to get home, 30 mins away, to get Bruce off of the bus at 3pm. I pump gas and it is 35 after. School lets out at 2:40. So I had to decide right then, should I call the school and have them keep Bruce there or try to get home a little "faster" than normal. I figured it probably wouldn't be good to come home with a speeding ticket so I had to have Bruce kept in the office till I could get there.
I get there and he was having the office ladies make him a paper airplane out of the slip they use to give to teachers to let them know that a child wont be going on the bus. So he was excited about it and wants me to now take him to school and drop him off every day. I DON'T THINK SO!!
So I finally get home and have to unload the car and the kids plus clean up the mess we made trying to hurry and get ready this morning. I finally now at nearly 9:30 pm, got the chance to sit down. I have managed to type the above without any real interruptions......
Now it is 9:30 in the morning and I am just now posting this because things went crazy last night. Jenna refused to go to sleep. Bruce had to go to bed without homework done because I had yet another time management issue. I let them play outside to long. Then didn't get dinner done until late. I didn't get to bed until 1 this morning and then had to wake up early to get homework done. Wow, what a way to start the day.......
Rules! Hell, there are no rules here...we're trying to accomplish something.

Amazed.......
Like usual it has been hectic around here. Jackalynn didn't go to her gramma's house so Monday was not what I expected it to be. I also still haven't gotten my darn newspaper. So I guess I will coupon online this week. I did get some good news yesterday. I found out that I am only 24 credits away from graduating with my Bachelors degree in accounting. SO excited about that. It seems like everywhere you look people want you to have minimum of a Bach. degree no matter the field of work. BUT there was one catch. I am over in my financial aid amount for an undergraduate by $1 so I can not be awarded any grants........Yes I said 1 measly little dollar. So now school is on hold until this affirmation paper gets turned in to the school. Hopefully that will go fast, but with my luck probably not. So I spent most of the day doing that. Then of course housework and kids. I have finally gotten what may be some kind of schedule figured out.
I have figured out that I never seem to get calls for work done on a Monday or Thursday. So I have now decided those will be my networking/deep cleaning days. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday will be my actual work days and the weekends around here you never know what we will be doing, so those are open. So maybe if I can get on this schedule my don't wont seem so hectic.
I will make that my goal for the next 30 days, keep to that basic schedule. I know it seems small but you must start somewhere. I challenge you, if you have what seems like no time to do anything, then join me in making a schedule. I would love to see what kind of schedules everyone has. Post them and maybe yours will help someone else.
Decide what you want. Decide what you are willing to exchange for it. Establish your priorities. Then go to work.

A day with the kids :)
So yesterday was more a day with/for the kids. I did do a lot of cleaning and some working but it was a kid day. We played PlayStation 3, Sonic the Hedgehog 4. We had pizza for lunch and then had sloppy joes for dinner followed by brownies for dessert. Jackalynn will be going to her Gram ma Baker so Monday will be a real work day. The house should be pretty quiet. Bruce will be at school and Jenna will just want to eat and sit on my lap all day. So I should be able to get quite a bit done.
Not sure what today will hold but I hope it will go good. My Sunday newspaper wasn't delivered this morning so I am having coupon withdrawals......LOL

CRAZINESS!!
Wow, what a last couple of days. It has been crazy. Wednesday was filled with trying to catch up on cleaning, doing school work with Bruce and then re enrolling in college for me. Yes, I am adding yet another thing to my busy hectic life. I am over half way done with my BA in accounting, so I figured I might as well try to finish since my Post 9/11 GI bill is now in affect. I am just hoping that between the GI BILL and grants I will be able to cover the costs. I am trying to get this procrastination out of me but it keeps creeping in once it gets to about 6-8pm This would be prime time to get things done but I seem to just feel like vegging out.
Yesterday, Thursday was even worse than Wednesday. I got Bruce on the bus at 7:30am then had to write out all of my information on my Avon pamphlets and books because it is taking forever for my stamper to get here. Knowing my luck it will come in the mail today. So I got all of that done and it was about 8:30 ish.....Then I had to get the kids in the bath and get them ready to go get Jackalynn signed up for Kindergarten. That was to be at 10 am. Jenna was ok with getting her up but with Jackalynn having really curly hair that gets tangled easily brushing it is no small task. So I had to spend about 15-20 minutes fighting with her to get her to sit still and let me do it. So I am finally done with her and Jenna by 9:30. I and Blake on the other hand were still in p.j.s So then I had to hurry to get him and myself freshened up. We do manage to make it on time. Mostly because the school is 2 miles away.
While there everything is going good until I realize that I forgot to get a copy of her shot record. So now I have to go to the doctors office to get one. We make it through kindergarten round up and I notice at the last "station" that it is nearly 11 and I had an interview set up for 11. So I hurry to make the phone call to let her know that I was running late and she didn't even answer. FINALLY we get done and of course they say she is absolutely ready for kindergarten, which I had no doubt would be the case.
So we get home and I think, ok down time to get some work done. Jenna acted like she was ready to go to sleep. Well I go to my room and come back out to find Jenna licking icing off of the last little bit of cake. So needless to say she didn't take a nap till much later. I also needed to go to the store. But by that time I would have been rushed to go to the bank, to the store, drop off my Avon pamphlets and my Ameriplan (R) pamplets, then drive 15-20 mins back to my house since I live in what seems to be the middle of nowhere. So I think, just wait till Bruce gets off the bus. This way I can clean up the cake mess and finally start to get some cleaning done. Well that actually worked out for me.
What didn't work was taking all 4 kids to the store on a Thursday. They drove me nuts. So we got home the same time as Ben, luckily, so I wasn't stuck bringing in all of the groceries. But I was stuck putting everything away so Ben cooked on the grill. But what did I forget at the store, hamburger buns. So had to go to the only think in this little itty bitty town, the gas station. The buns luckily were on sale for $1.50. Finally I was able to go home and ....do more work. Had to get Bruce's family project done. I had procrastinated on it like I always seem to do. It is due today, Friday. Well we eat then I start working on it and got all caught up in looking at pictures of Bruce as he was growing up which is what the project was all about. So the kids started playing Sonic the Hedgehog on PS3. Well we are close to beating it so Ben started playing it while I finally got the project actually started at 9pm which is the normal bed time.
Ben beats all but the boss. So he asks if I want to try.....procrastination kicks in. I play and beat it. Then move on to the big boss. I lose all 20 some lives we had built up and now I notice it is 11pm. So I rush to finish the last few details on the project and finally get to bed around 12. Mess still on the floor from project and kitchen still dirty from dinner.
After being woke up about every hour or so by a different child throughout the night I wake up this morning at 6:45 and walk into the living room and all I want to do is crawl back into bed and dream of little fairies that come and clean for me. But this isn't possible so what do I do. I sit at the computer....lol Procrastination is KILLING ME!! So now here I am writing about everything ignoring the mess that Jackalynn and Jenna are continuing to make in the living room. Believe it or not this is only the main events in my day.
And then I get an email with the perfect quote. ENJOY!

Day 3-----Look Forward!
So, yesterday didn't quite go as planned, but I refuse to dwell on the past. Today is another day and I WILL make it a good one. Today looks like a few more e-mails and a lot of calls. Hopefully the kids cooperate. Then a training call at ll this morning. I also have to go grocery shopping today.
It seems like a lot to do but I get to do all of it with my kids. I don't care much for taking the kids to the store but I am happy that I have a job where I can stay home with my kids and not have to pay for a babysitter. If you want to hear about the work I do, I invite you to call (760) 568-1331 This recorded call will go over all of the information. If you are interested shoot me a message on here or email me at autumn060903@ymail.com

Day 2--Morning
What a great morning. I woke up to Bruce in a good mood and ready to get up for school. Managed to send out a few e-mails while he was getting dressed and eating cereal. Got him on the bus and sent some more emails. Then my other little monsters awoke. So we enjoyed pancakes together. Now it is on to the working part of mommies day. My goal for today is to send out 50 more e-mails, make at least 2 phone calls. I also have a couple of training calls to listen in on. I have a lot to do but I am going to keep up my "can do" attitude. I can and I will!!!

Day1-----The beginning
Hello everyone! Today is my first blogging day. I wanted to share my story, as many others have, about my journey not only as a mother of four children but also the life of a mother that works from home. My hope is that you will see that ANY person that puts their mind to something, they CAN do it.
